In the wake of the already under fire Quincy Police Department finding itself exposéd over reports of suspected coverings up of sexting involving a currently suspended Quincy police dick who is both the son of the recently retired longtime Quincy Police Chief Paul “The Beaver“ Keenan as well as the nephew of Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch, the Quincy Police Department is now facing word of something further disconcerting.

A Quincy Quarry reader advised the Quarry of word heard via police scanner radio chatter.that a police cruiser had struck a pedestrian along Burgin Parkway in the vicinity of Burgin’s intersection with Dimmock Street

This latest striking of a pedestrian in Quincy was said to have occurred early Wednesday evening.

Additionally, after the Quincy Police Department accident reconstruction scene finished its investigation of the scene of the accident, the cruiser was said to have been transported via a flatbed tow truck to a storage facility within the footprint of the former Fore River Shipyard.

In turn, one can only assume that regular traffic along Burgin was greatly impacted given the reported accident and then its investigation.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing readers can count on the Quarry to follow up on this dime and update its coverage on this story as might be appropriate.
