While every day is drink beer from the office tap in the Quincy Quarry News newsroom wherein the pay sucks but the bennies aren’t bad, this year the official Drink Beer Day fails on a hump day.

Also note that marketers have designated September 7 as National Beer Lovers Day and April 7 as National Beer Day to so commemorate President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signing the Cullen–Harrison Act so legalizing the sale of beer as well as so setting the beginning of the end of Prohibition.

Regardless, locally today is going to be a lovely day to quaff a cold one or three while firing up the grill or perhaps catching a game at Fenway.
