Quincy Quarry’s media brethren at Boston 25 are reporting that the deceased female and male trespassed onto the Red Line right-of-way and then apparently look to have laid down across both the tracks and the third rail in what can only reasonably assume looks to have been a double suicide.
The bodies were spotted a bit north of the Wollaston Center Red Line Station by a train operator at roughly 6 AM and thus at the start of morning civil twilight.
Are you or loved one suicidal or in a crisis…. Remember help is available. PLEASE call the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 it is available 24/7. There is HOPE !!

In the meanwhile, while the MBTA has announced that the scene has been cleared, a train that has long been stopped at the station was still stopped at the station as of 10 AM
In turn, the resumption of regular rail service is running late by at least an hour and a half later than the Quincy Police Department’s original projection to be resuming rail service by 8:30 AM following the completion of a MBTA Transit Police investigation and the coroner clearing the remains of the deceased couple from the scene.
?6:30am ALL train service that passes through #Quincy will be STOPPED for approx 2 hours due to police activity ?All media inquiries should be directed to @MBTATransitPD #matraffic pic.twitter.com/bRZ8pBjpUQ
