The first scheduled trains on the reopened today Orange Line rolled out of of the Forest Hills and Malden stations without incident this morning after a month-long suspension of rail services so as to facilitate a major maintenance makeover..
At the same time, the Quarry has yet to score any field reports on the promised concurrent resumption of Green Line rail service north of Government Station to Somerville’s Union Station on the Green Line Extension only just opened for service last spring.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry News’ ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to continue to monitor the situation and report back as appropriate.
