Nancy Pelosi writes off Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional support as “like five people.”

 

In a major televised interview, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (C, CA) saved most of her shade for her own party, especially rookie socialists and other rock throwing newbies.

 

Even so, Speaker Pelosi, say she views herself as a progressive.

“While there are people who have a large number of Twitter followers, what’s important is that we have large numbers of votes on the floor of the House,” Pelosi told USA Today.

 

Rookie House of Representatives member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has 3.93 million Twitter followers, compared to Speaker Pelosi’s 2.44 million.
