Calling all units, calling all units!

Quincy Quarry News’ Citizen Police Scanner monitor has reported two incidents of note over this weekend.  So far just two anyway.

The first is that a roughly forty person incident went down in the parking lot at Quincy’s Walmart Superstore last night around 10 PM.

Police radio chatter indicted that at least one person was wielding a knife and the police response to the scene was an all officers available proposition.

No indications of any arrests, however, much less just capturing the person purportedly brandishing a knife.

As for the other incident, it is a just playing out event.

Brewster ambulance 6295 was apparently involved in an accident in the vicinity of Newport Avenue’s intersection with Elmwood Street and thus near the Wollaston Red Line station.

Injuries were reported.

Additionally, the Quincy Fire Department rolled equipment to the scene in support of Quincy police cruisers.

At the same time, as this incident just occurred, the Quarry does not yet have an idea as if any other vehicles were involved or if perhaps a pedestrian was struck.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to continues to follow both of these breaking badly bad news© stories and report updates as might be appropriate.
