After 31 years of serving up generous portions of satisfying Italian food at very popular prices, the Martochio family have called it a wrap at their Gennaro and Son family restaurant adjacent to Quincy Avenue as well as Quincy Point.
Gennaro’s purveyed not only sit down meals but also serious numbers of trays of takeout meals to go as well as pizzas and some of the meatiest subs in the Q.
No word, however, from Quincy’s City Hall as to where it might be sourcing trays to go of broiled and skinless chicken fingers going forward.

Maybe Graz can take it over (his only real job was running a deli), can’t do any worse than he does on Quincy roads. Koch look like he ate a whole turkey for lunch. Gennaro’s was a great place. From social events to kids sports dinners, they were a constant that delivered. Food was good and always consistent.
Ordered many catering items from Gennaro over the years. Gerry is a culinary Titan. Another Quincy food favorite that will be sorely missed.
Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
