Fried from the recent records breaking heat wave?

Have some fried clams if you still have an appetite!!!

And as for where to go for fried clams in Quincy, Quincy Quarry News refuses to engage in the Clam Shack versus Tony’s food fight over which one makes the best fried clams.

The reason why not?  

Because the local old school treasure that is Burke’s Seafood is the Quarry news crew’s favorite for not only its best in Quincy fried claims but also how its tangy claw slaw and sublime tartar sauce round out a delicious meal.

Even better, Burke’s tasty rice pilaf and crisp french fries make for perfect sides as well as that its other seafood offerings of prepared meals and fresh seafood are noteworthy in addition to reasonably priced.

Of particular note, Burke’s Haddock Chowder is spot on perfect as well as available to go, not to mention its oven ready to go prepared dishes

In fact, about the only problem with Burke’s is that it only offers sit down dining until around 3 pm.
