Kiss me, I’m Irish. For today anyway …

Granted, by all accounts Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch is not a drinker.

And in a further showing of balanced and fair coverage by Quincy Quarry, it must also note there are no indications that he might be a friend of Bill.

At the same time, $200 was charged to his campaign fund to cover the tab for a St. Patrick’s Day outing at the checkered Nickerson VFW Post and which is a co-defendant with the City of Quincy along with various senior city officials in an $8 million wrongful death case.

On the other hand, perhaps some of the two benjamins were spent on some food; however, most everyone knows that the best deals to be had at veterans posts are usually on its adult libations

Next up is how it was odd to opt for a venue not a pub — at least not an Irish pub — to host his mostly boyos for his St. Patrick’s Day revelries.

Sláinte!
A Guinness image

Then again, given how Quincy Quarry exposéd how last year the mayor’s St Patrick’s Day revelries was a moveable feast — if not also featured arguable moving violations, one can see why the mayor might want to opt for an out of the way venue for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day this year.

After all, last year’s revelries included a senor Koch capo getting handsy with a couple of female revelers at a Marina Bay licensed establishment.

The capo apparently also pulled the do you know who I am routine with Quincy police officers who apparently ended up placing him into protective custody to sober up rather than parking him in the local lock-up for being drunk and disorderly as the two accosted females declined to press charges,

And for a further pattern or practice of disorderly conduct at local Koch Administration sponsored St. Patrick’s day events dating back to before COVID laid things low things for awhile at least a while, Quincy’s now-former low groaner of a poor copy of South Boston’s St Patrick’s Day breakfast groan fest was terminated with extreme prejudice after one of Quincy’s revelers sucker punched a senior citizen.

Rumor has it that the senior found humor in the sucker puncher’s purportedly relieving himself in a kitchen sink at the Quincy Elks Lodge whereas the sucker puncher — a former Quincy resident and now a Plymouth County Commissioner — apparently did not.

Cash is King is Quincy!
A Quincy Quarry meme

In any event, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers knew that the Quarry would find out where Mayor Koch and his mostly boyos celebrated St Patrick’s Day this year even if at the same time one cannot help but now wonder why the mayor did not to pay cash out of his own pocket.

After all, surely he knows that cash leaves no trails and for which his late brother is said to have some familiarity.
