PI Day is a celebration of math and is based on π, the mathematical constant that helps one to be able calculate things involving circles. 

In turn, other sorts of pies have ended up the primary featured image for Pi Day and thus all manner of purveyors of pies — from dessert pies to pizza pies — are promoting PI Day with deals on pies.

Needless to say, the Quincy Quarry News newsroom never passes on a chance to score a meal deal and thus has plans to partake.

At the same time, the Quarry has no idea if Koch Maladministration is for a change taking up an opportunity to save some money hosting its expected annual St. Patrick’s Day outing to a Quincy Point pub subsidized with Koch campaign account funds. 

Last year, this annual liquid lunch outing likely fueled the need for Quincy police to later apparently see a city department head sent home after purportedly as well as curiously getting handsy with a couple of females at a Marina Day purveyor of food and especially beverage.

Needless to say, it will thus be interesting to see if this Koch Maladministration annual outing for insiders might now go the way of the now former local sorry excuse of a copycatting of South Boston’s annual St. Patric’s Day breakfast or if Mr. Snippy is either cutoff or not invited this year.
