2024 Starts as 2023 Ended With A Motor Vehicle Strike

Last year’s troubling spate of motor vehicle strikes of other than other motor vehicles continued this morning, albeit it with a twist: rather than whacking a pedestrian, today’s incident involved a bicycle victim.

Fortunately for the bicyclist, the injuries suffered and damage inflicted were apparently modest as the victim refused care and then left the accident scene.

Unfortunately for the Quarry, however, this incident went down so quickly that it could not roll personnel to the scene of the accident along McGrath Highway in time to score some photographs and perhaps even some quotes from those at the accident scene.
