Quincy Massachusetts is quiet before the fall.

Sorta/kinda quiet anyway.

After weeks of things hot and often heavy care of the not tall local heavy, things were relatively quiet for a change for most of this week.

Quiet enough for Quincy Quarry to have the time to exposé all manner false narratives and errata in one of the sections in Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s brief of purported accomplishments and such that justify his reelection for another terms in office as mayor.

Small problem, “facts are stubborn things…” and they pretty much gut Koch’s claims.

Other sections in Koch’s brief are similarly fraught with mistakes.

Arguably Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey prosecution grade mistakes.

That and numerous Five Pinnochios grade whoopers foisted by the Koch Machine so as to fool enough useful idiots to seek to grift reelection.

How egregious were the Team Koch campaign propaganda whoopers?

So egregious that Its trolls have not posted but a single diss Quincy Quarry’s way even though the Quarry is the only local news outlet of the three main local outlets to allow online comments as well as without any restrictions placed upon them other than the most minimal expectations of a semblance of decorum.

Then again, a key part of this Quincy Quarry’s posting policy is to allow fools to post and so remove all doubt that they are fools and/or tools.

In short, as well as yet again, Only in Q© …

Speaking of short, Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch took the first step towards his out of the blue plan to see the campus of Eastern Nazarene College redeveloped by changing the zoning for its campus.

So what for the fact that the college is still in operation  as well as at least so far has not announced that it plans to close, much less sell its roughly 15 acre campus in a quiet residential neighborhood in Wollaston.

That and how the college could well have a cause of action to sue the City of Quincy over the fact that Mayor Koch’s announcing his arguably predatory plans to rezone the college’s campus to restrict its possible reuse for strictly senior housing will all but assuredly lay waste to the school’s enrollment going forward.

In the meanwhile, the Supreme Judicial Court’s ruling on Mayor Koch’s curious claim that the City of Quincy owns property that was specifically bequested to the benefit of the Adams Temple and School Fund is expected to be issued any day.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to report on this court ruling, if not also yet again scoop the news of what is expected to be yet another adverse ruling against the City of Quincy that pertains to its long history of abusing the Adams Fund as well as various others.
