Last night’s perhaps but two inch snowfall was more than enough to provide the means for many local drivers to yet again prove that they had forgotten how to drive on snowy and thus slippery roads over the summer.

Per Quincy Quarry’s Citizen Police Scanner Monitor, there were fender benders aplenty last night and thus was a good night for both local tow truck services as well as auto body shops.

For example, opposite the one-time Settles Auto Glass location on Washington Street a not so sharp driver of late model Mercedes Benz failed to make the not sharp turn off of Washington onto Edwards Street and so trashed the Benz’s front suspension on a curb.

And for the newsroom favorite report of the night, A Quincy Quarry News Citizen Traffic Reporter lucked into seeing some masshole driver bang a U on Southern Artery so as to apparently seek to hit the drive-in at Popeye’s Chicken, only to then end up banged by other another vehicle.
