Quincy City Hall Snow Team Six fail?

While out and about on the sled dog tracks that passed for streets in Quincy this morning, Quincy Quarry’s Photo Recon Team Six happened upon something never seen before: an all but full fail by Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s Snow Team Six.

Specifically, roughly half an hour after the official opening of Quincy’s City Hall operations, both Kim Jong Koch Plaza and City Hall’s VIP parking lot were in sloppy shape.

Wicked sloppy shape.

Stricken by an attack of piles?

Granted, the snow had been coming down hard for a while.

Even so, Snow Team Six was at best sort of holding its own against today’s snowfall as opposed to the usual expectation of at least clearing things down to at least close to the pavement by sunrise.

How far behind the curve was Snow Team Six?

Quincy Quarry News photographed one of Team Six’s two exclusive to its use mini-tractors hiding behind a snowplow.

Even more problematic, Snow Team Six was clearly not seeing the usual support from the Department of Public Works as Snow Team Six was using one of its two dedicated Kubota mini tractors to endeavor to plow the City Hall VIP parking lot.

The only good news is that the temperature this morning was hovering just below freezing as well as expected to work a tad above freezing and so facilitate perhaps catching up on plowing as soon as perhaps when City Hall VIP’s might head out for lunch.

That or make it easy for delivery to those opting to dine in today.
