– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy will be warm today but snowy on Friday.
Enjoy today as the weather will also be staying cold into next week.
Even more problematic and has often been the case this winter, the expected snow totals from Friday’s storms have been inching up as the expected rain/snow mix line has been steadily dipping southerly.
Currently, the transition line is expected to be essentially along the Mass Pike; however, it could dip further south.
As such, Quincy locals should plan on at least four inches of heavy and wet snowfall on Friday to perhaps as much as eight inches of heavy but a bit less wet snow.
At this point, however, the touts in the Quincy Quarry newsroom are experiencing serious action laid down on the over.
At the same time, it is unclear if the approaching storm will arrive in time to supplement the snow piles along Kim Jong Koch Plaza in front of Quincy’s two city halls before they might melt given potentially record-breaking warm weather today.
Regardless of where and how much snow falls, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to get out and out to report on the impact of the storm on Friday as well as how quickly and well-cleared is the Quincy City Hall VIP parking lot both during the storm as well as after it on Saturday even if City Hall will be closed for the weekend.
I expect Friday with be another City of Quincy sh*t show.
Just another short work week for city hall! First a Monday holiday and now a Friday snow day!
How many women do you think are being sex-trafficked in Quincy today? More than 10? Twenty? Over twenty?
