Out to lunch, illegally double parking – whatever

– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News.

Quincy City Halls Snow Team Six out to lunch.

Nowhere to be seen out to lunch, that is.

While out and about on the third day after Friday’s rain, sleet, and freezing rainstorm on Friday and nine days after the near record-setting Bombogenis Blizzard of 2022, Quincy Quarry News personnel found Kim Jong Koch Plaza’s Snow Team Six’s two designated for the team’s use only Kubota mini-tractors parked in front of the Church of the Presidents shortly after noon on Monday.

So what, apparently, for the fact that Snow Team Six does not plow where the tractors were found parked as it is not city property.

Also problematic is how parts of Kim Jong Koch Plaza were not plowed, much less merely at least lightly salted.

Then again, such is typically the case, if not worse, for sidewalks throughout almost everywhere else in Quincy.

Accordingly, here is hoping that tonight’s rain and afternoon temperatures in the forties over the next few days might finally melt away what has not been cleared.

Other than the four glaciers along Kim Jong Koch Plaza, that is.
