Quincy High School Student stage walkout to protest racism and hate speech.

In what is still breaking news, this morning a number of students at Quincy High School walked out of their classes to protest recent racially inflammatory events involving local high school students.

How big a protest?

Not only are both Quincy Quarry News and the South Shore broadsheet already reporting on this breaking news event, so too has the Quarry’s media brethren at Boston 25 as well as WHDH TV.

Additionally, the local weekly tabloid is sure to follow as soon as possible given that earlier this week the tabloid reported on a previously unknown to Quincy Quarry racially charged event at Point Webster Middle School.

Conversely, however, there has been no apparent statement out of Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch who as mayor is also the Chair of the School Committee.
