Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Turf’s up!

Cowabunga!

Turf jobs, tree down, car crashes, cover-ups – oh my!

While this week did not feature new breaking badly bad news on a par with last week’s Quincy Quarry exposé of La Kocha Nostra’s plan to scam upwards of $8 million worth of lunch money from school girls at the Woodward School for Girls, all manner of lesser sorts of bovine byproduct still continues to fly hither and yond throughout the Q during what has been a long, hot and wet summer.

Putting up a grandstand for grandstanding …

After all, what better time than the dog days of summer to endeavor to slip grifts under the radar?

For example, all manner of workers are working frantically to see things sufficiently wrapped up in time for Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s gala ribbon cutting for the previously delayed opening of the so-called Generals Bridge.

The bridge connects Burgin Parkway with ultimately little more than a secondary back alleyway to the Kilroy Garage (where the Hancock Parking lot once was) and which itself has inexplicably yet to be formally dedicated as near as the Quarry can tell.

More importantly, talk about bad timing by the Koch Machine.

Wicked bad timing as the Koch Maladministration will be concurrently dedicating all manner of military monuments on the twentieth anniversary of 9/11 and thus hard upon the anticipated conclusion of a chaotic evacuation of Kabul with a koched-up photo op.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to report on what is now expected to morph into an attempt to spin a bloody pig’s ear into a silk purse.

Generalissimo El Jefe
A meme

That and surely it will be rife with mandatory appearances as extras by Koch coatholders and other sorts of hangers on to the robe of a local emperor with have to be at least made to measure new clothes so as to salt the crowd with fawning shills.

So what, however, for the fact that many currently in uniform as well as veterans will likely find this sort of affair to be more than just a bit over the top even per the wicked way over the top koched-up practices of the Koch Maladministration.

After all, those who have actually been in-country under fire are rarely fans of NuttyBuddy sniffer wannabes seeking to wrap the flag around themselves so as to advance their own personal agendas.
