With the Quincy City Council adjourned for its summer vacation and La Kocha Nostra thus hunkered down planning for new grifts to spring when the council returns in September, Quincy Quarry is shifting gears on its coverage of the Q.

For example, ratcheting up the Quarry’s covert intelligence-gathering operations. 

After all, when the City Council is in session, about all one has to do is monitor the faces of Kochsters and follow their comments to catch their tells and so discern what they are planning to scam.

Truth be told, however, about the only real problem over the summer is keeping Quincy Quarry’s intern on top of logging all of La Kocha Nostra’s scams into the Quarry’s “ScamTracker®” database.

As such, for Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers summertime easy reading enjoyment, the Quarry will be focusing on short stories of a sort on the short griftings of smaller scammings and jammings endeavored by the both vertically as well as oh so ethically challenged Koch Maladministration.

Plus, who doesn’t love a snarky short story?

That and Quincy Quarry’s Editor plans to spend more time both editing Quarry stories before publication as well as circling back around after publication to tighten up story text. 

After all, day drinking still happens as we all continue to deal with the impacts of working remotely and disrupted supply chains care of the still lingering impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
