America’s Best and Worst Cities for BBQ.

The people at Chef’s Pencil slogged through the data to rank the top 62 cities for barbeque.

Needless to say, barbeque aficionados will be picking bones with the rankings as well as that Metro Boston residents likely to be among the noisiest as usual.

The reason: Boston tied for second to last in the rankings with only Anchorage Alaska having lower-rated barbeque.

And sure to only add fuel to the fire, while Quincy Quarry would suggest that while there are many fine area purveyors of barbeque, locals do not have the discriminating palates as do others elsewhere given locals’ overwhelming preference for using gas grills at home. 

After all, the whole idea behind barbeque is ultimately based on the use of charcoal and certain woods for grilling.
