Quincy COVID-19 infections continue to soar to apparent new highs but Mayor Thomas P. Koch is inexplicably all but MIA.

In the wake of the unexpected recent word of the CIty of Quincy’s Department of Public Health Commissioner retiring at the end of the month amidst ever-worsening rates of local COVID-19 infections, Mayor Koch has conversely failed to promulgate a City of Quincy COVID-19 update YouTube since Tuesday of last week as of the time of publication of this Quincy Quarry coverage – not that these YouTubes offered much of anything more consequential than happy yak blather befitting of a local TV news show in a small media market such as North Dakota or promulgated by a local community access television station.

Quincy Quarry briefly considered reaching out to Quincy’s City Hall for comment, but how does one contact someone who is MIA? 

That and as Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers know, every member of the Koch Machine all but assuredly does not care to respond to Quarry inquiries unless it is directed to do so by an outside entity or is otherwise dimed out by the Quarry such that others end up posing questions.

Granted, one can only suspect Mayor Koch might opt to say that he is too busy to respond to the Quarry, it is only fair to note that he rarely fails to take up a chance for a photo op and as well as so talking up his working hard on behalf of Quincy would make for an ideal example of what is wrong with photo ops.
