Dan FlynnFlam returning to the scene of his crimes?

Federal Department of Prison’s soon to be former prisoner 96938-038 (also known as Dan FlynnFlam as well as Daniel J. Flynn) will be checking out of the fed’s Philadelphia Club Fed facility tomorrow after serving roughly forty months stint in stir.

The reason for his extended stay?  Multiple federal felonies convictions of fleecing at least $21 million – but which FlynnFlam has disputed – from more than 90 people in what was essentially a manner of Ponzi scheme.

FlynnFlam was provided with an early release given good behavior while in stir on what was a near four year sentence.

His release on parole mandates several more years under the supervision of a federal parole officer as well as includes an order to effect restitution, not that anyone is expecting any recompense unless FlynnFlam lucks into winning a substantial lottery jackpot.

Accordingly, Quincy Quarry did not bother to reach out for comment from a City of Quincy hack hire department head who surely needed the job given his rumored personally painful fleecing.

After all, surely the Koch Maladministration’s long ongoing policy of omertà all but assuredly also applies to any questions asked of it that involve the mayor’s childhood friend who is now a convicted felon.

Also unknown at this point is what will FlynnFlam do for a job.

Additionally, one can only assume that his terms of parole include that he is not to work in real estate.

Then again, not that such stopped him previously.

Specifically, per a Quincy Quarry News staffer’s understanding directly from the source, FlynnFlam continued to engage in real estate transactions on the down low while he was similarly so ordered previously not to engage in any real estate activities while he was out of jail on personal recognizance following his arrest and indictment on felony charges and while so awaiting trial in federal court.

Accordingly, doing so at this point as well as caught doing so could result in his having to serve at least several more years in prison.

Further limiting FlynnFlam’s options, it is Quincy Quarry’s indirect understanding that FlynnFlam quirked his relationship with a owner of new car dealerships who has a history of providing second chances to Friends of Bill and so probably cannot return to a job he had had before he went to prison that was arguably well-suited to his nature even if he was not selling used cars.

Additionally, one can only assume that two childhood friends, the former Norfolk County Sheriff and still ongoing Mayor of Quincy will not hire him – at least not directly – even if they did petition the court for leniency on his sentencing.

In particularly, as the former Norfolk County Sheriff is now the Norfolk County Treasurer-elect there is thus no way could he hire someone convicted of considerable financial fraud charges.

Then again, Quincy Mayor Koch has provided taxpayer-funded jobs for four of the key players in former State Treasurer Tim Cahill’s illegal campaign fund raising trial and eventual pleading out to lesser misdemeanors, so what’s taking care of another goodfella?

That how the Koch Machine has even longer taken care of family and friends by doing whatever it took to move them up on the hiring list.

Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to continue to monitor the whole of the impending situation and report back as might be appropriate.
