As previously reported by Quincy Quarry, COVID-19 has already giving rise to ruptures in the condom supply chain given all manner of impediments, ranging from plant closures to transportation disruptions.

While the domestic on shelves retail inventories of condoms are currently in better shape than is the case with toilet paper and paper towels, it is only a matter of time before established couples will have streamed their brains out and the urge to merge will drive self-absorbed and self-indulgent working remotely millennials back to swiping right on Tinder and “more.”

In the meanwhile, condom supplies in developing countries are already far thinner than an extra sensitive wrapper.
