Smelling a chump in the water, three state senators have been scrambling to secure support to succeed embattled Massachusetts State Senate President Stanley Rosenberg (D-Amherst) given his ensnaring within a still burgeoning sex scandal involving his husband.
State Senators Sal N. DiDomenico (D-Everett), Linda Dorcena Forry (D-Boston) and Eileen Donoghue (D-Lowell) are said to have scrambled over the weekend to line up votes they would need to take the presidency, after Stated Senator Barbara L’Italien (D-Andover) said she’ll ask Rosenberg to step down at today’s senate caucus.
Needless to say, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to follow all aspects of this latest tawdry news involving Massachusetts legislature.
