Boston Drivers are Massholes for third year in a row.
As should come as no surprise to anyone, Boston drivers were found by Allstate Insurance to be the most accident-prone drivers in the country according to its 2017 study of the accident data from 200 of the largest cities in United States.
In fact, Boston blew away its competition.
Also note that Worcester and Springfield drivers ranked third and fifth worst, respectively, with Providence coming in at an unlucky seventh.
Amazingly, however, Quincy was nowhere to be seen on the list as apparently it is too small a city to rank among the 200 largest cities in the country.
Regardless, it was still quite an accomplishment for Boston drivers to rank as the worst in the country for the third year running.
After all, not even the New England Patriots have pulled off a three-peat.
Whether or not Boston drivers will maintain their championship run of bad driving and so challenge the Boston Celtics’ legendary eight-peat remains to be seen.
A key reason to hope not is that Boston officially lowered its basic speed limit from thirty miles per hour to twenty-five last January.
Not that many Boston drivers are likely to abide with this change, much drive safer, however.
