In what should be a feel good story of a sort, one of the many chainsaw victims along the Hancock Street Misalignment project has not only survived, it has also thrived during this summer’s drought whereas other city trees continue to fall victim to serial killings given a lack of water.

Unfortunately, this extremely rare bit of good news in the Q will surely turn into bad news as this hardy survivor is sure to end up in the trash as the running way behind schedule Hancock Street Misalignment project continues to lumber along towards its long past due eventual completion.

Expect Quincy Quarry to follow both of these intertwined stories to their respective and likely bitter ends.
