Not a school bus, right, in the Quincy Public Schools’ bus yard

Shortly after Opening Day at Fenway Park comes boating season.
In the meanwhile as well as since last fall, boat owners need to store their boats for the winter and clearly someone is storing her but more likely his boat within the Quincy Public Schools Department’s bus yard behind the Kennedy Senior on East Squantum Street.
After all, upon review, no boating program was found to be operated by the Quincy Public Schools.
Similarly, it would clearly appear that there is pretty much no way that the covered boat is one of the city’s several police boats.
On the other hand, if a privately owned boat, perhaps its owner might be paying a fair market storage rate to the city..
After all, not only the head of Public Buildings is said to take advantage of his position to park his Sunday ride in secure small garage on city property on Greenleaf Street, he has apparently also scored storage space near the school department’s school yard for dock floats and boats tied to a local yacht club where he has long been a bigger fish at a lesser local private club watering hole along the local waterfront.
They need the boat for when the bus yard floods. At the same time, whose idea was it to put the bus yard where it floods every few months given king tide high tide events and city employees so have to move the buses to high ground. I wonder how much that costs in overtime to move the buses back and forth. Seems like it be a better idea to find higher ground to keep the buses. Keep an eye out on Pageant Field as it’s where the buses are typically relocated.
Magic: Good points and an example in support of them follows. Some years ago school buses were not moved to high ground in advance of a known well enough in advance impending high water storm surge event. As such, buses ended up water-logged, repairs were needed, and some rolling stock ended up totaled given salt water damage.
