Quincy’s sideways street light is still sideways.
A likely to be unlucky thirteen weeks after it was first whacked by an at least careless driver, the ornate and expensive cast iron streetlight along Hannon Parkway near Hancock Street is still precariously leaning even more so than the Tower of Pisa.
Even more troubling, the streetlight also continues to be without any temporary reinforcing support or even but merely warning signs to duly warn passersby.
How much longer this intolerable situation is going to continue remains unknown.
Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Department of Public Works Works Commissar Dan “Spanky” Raymondi.

Fortunately, however, the Quarry City Editor noted that its news teams had far more important things to do than listen to Spanky go on and on and on and on even more about the hardworking men and (some, ed.) women at the DPW when the Quarry as well as ever increasingly more Quincy residents know better.
Quincy Quarry also did not bother reaching out to Koch Maladministration spokes model Pinocchio Walkbacker for comment on this latest instance of long unimpaired damage as it did not care to subject any of its staff to having to go outside during he current frigid spate of weather to effect an ambush interview of Walkbacker while he was outside satisfying a nic-fit.
As such as well as as a public service announcement, Quincy Quarry recommends that its growing legions of loyal readers steer clear of this dangerous sideways streetlight.
