Nixon tells Hillary Clinton it is time to both face fear and abandon hope.
Hillary Clinton continues to be mired in an all but intractable two-front war: Bernie Sanders continues to draw more votes in the sum of all recent Democratic presidential primaries and Donald Trump has all but officially as well as most unexpectedly locked up the Republican presidential nomination.
As such, pretending that such verities are not the case is unlikely to work.
As @dick_nixon is likely to never support Trump, he has offered Hillary a little fatherly political advice in spite of the fact that she served as a junior counsel on “… the impeachment inquiry staff in Washington, D.C., advising the House Committee on the Judiciary during the Watergate scandal …” when the US House of Representatives voted Articles of Impeachment against President Nixon.
No argument, the advice is fraught with the unvarnished language of a former naval officer who served during World War II.
Then again, hard truths are rarely pretty as well as that political campaigning has long been the ultimate blood sport in the United States.
That and how who least one political observer has written of how it can be argued that Nixon begat Hillary, at least so to speak.
Needless to say, expect continuing coverage of this year’s presidential campaigning in Quincy Quarry.
