A clash of the GOP titans has sparked talk of a 2024 showdown. Ex-New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie pushed back at former President Donald Trump Thursday knocking him for losing to President Biden.

Then again, Sundays are typical days for both print and video media talking heads to float political speculation so as to fill column inches or air time.

Regardless, one can only assume that the level of kayfabe foisted given such a candidate face-off would be epic, even per WWE Saturday Night Smackdown standards.

After all, former President Donald Trump is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.

At the same time, what Chris Christie – the fast-talking as well as tough-talking former Governor of New Jersey – gives up in the way of height is more than amply offset by his even more considerable girth.

Accordingly, one can only wonder if the ring could hold up under their combined weights.

Then again, neither is likely to be able to do a Missile Dropkick off of the top of a ring turnbuckle and so threaten a ring’s canvas

Especially if either of these pugnacious political poseurs might actually be able to pull off some semblance of a Missle Dropkick or fake some other physically demanding wrestling throw for an audience’s entertainment.
