Thomas Bowes, Merit Rating Board director under fire in Registry of Motor Vehicles scandal, has been fired.

As expected, this afternoon at the Merit Rating Board oversight board’s first meeting in years the oversight board voted to fire the long under fire Director of the Merit Rating Board director over his at least malfeasant role in June’s tragic New Hampshire accident.

Also expected was how Merit Rating Board oversight board member Attorney General Maura Healey’s spokesperson both conceded that the last record of the oversight board meeting was in 2015 as well as less than artfully tap danced around the fact that harsh Merit Rating Board critic Healey has long been MIA in matters involving the Merit Rating Board.
