– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News

Quincy Quarry prepared to cover any more bad news about the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Given that in recent weeks the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has been practicing the usual practice of releasing the latest batch of bad news about the many batches of traffic citations simply put into bins and then stored away at the Registry’s Quincy-based Merit Rating Board on Friday afternoons so as to take advantage of the usually quiet weekend news cycle, Quincy Quarry is thus pre-deploying staff to the department’s headquarters to be at the ready to report on its only to be expected latest batch of breaking badly bad news©.

At minimum, the Quarry will thus be at the ready to report on the also only to be expected latest MBTA breakdown given today’s hot weather.

Finding someone to head into Boston today was not easy.

In addition to the fact that today’s forecast that this afternoon will be wicked hot and humid afternoon, the key impediment is that the Transportation Department’s Chinatown adjacent location is no longer also adjacent to the Combat Zone as the zone is no more.

As such, the City Editor had to authorize a bar tab so that staff reported will be able to wait out the ever-increasingly dreadful evening commute back to Quincy.
