Rockland selectman involved in sex scandal resigns as residents threaten recall.

 

Edward “Eddie Porkchops“ Kimball, a Rockland Board of Selectmen member since 2010, submitted his letter of resignation to the Rockland Town Clerk this morning and is thus the second Rockland selectman to go down in recent months.

Porkchops was facing an expected recall election over his role in one of the more bizarre three-way sex scandals even per Massachusetts’ long history of political sex scandals.

 

The married Mr. Kimball’s also married co–respondent in his illicit assignations – and who is coincidentally a Quincy native as well as a former City of Quincy staff attorney – resigned earlier this month. as the scandal continues to fuel local water cooler gossip both locally in Rockland as well as throughout much of the Commonwealth.

Key reasons for his paramour’s earlier resignation: the Rockland Town Hall security video system as well as other findings uncovered during an outside investigation after she first played the #metoo card shortly after her late night assignation with someone else on May Day inside of Rockland Town Hall was first exposéd.
