With spring come baseball and potholes, albeit with both sucking at least so far this spring.
Up for a three hour cruise or perhaps have a picture of a “favorite’ pothole or three to share with Quincy Quarry News?
While you are on your own to book a cruise with the skipper and Gilligan, you can easily submit pothole pictures via an easy to use online uploader here and so perhaps see your picture(s) featured in a future Quincy Quarry News story!

I think Quincy Quarry should report on the pothole that is Lea Dee’s “It Begins in Quincy: Protecting Public Art and Heritage” page on Facebook. I’ve never seen a Weymouth resident so captivated with religious statues.
Agalmatophilia is more like it.
In any event, steering clear of a rabid Fisher Cat who is in point of fact actually as well as seriously undercutting her cause has been viewed at the Quarry as the smart play.
For now anyway.
Touché, Mr. Editor, touché.
Wait — potholes are back? They never went away.
Where is pain in the Graz? No roads plan announced and he just hates Quincy taxpayers. About 70 miles of local roads desperately need repaving and this man is a joke. Hey Tommy Taxes, Graz is killing you. You might want to have a conversation with him.
I believe the administration prefers to call them traffic calming measures.
Just spoke with a friend from NGrid Gas. He has been down in the Neck for 2 days now. He said up to 6 crews were there at any given time.
It seems the water main break on Littlefield/Macy led to major breaks in the gas line and put water in everyone’s service. He said the Water Department controlled and repaired the water main break(s). He was shown water mains that were supposed to freely support themselves (underground) due to a poor job of backfilling the sewer line repairs with the peat they took out. That led to compaction issues, erosion and future cavities.
If you have heard this before, he mentioned the Sea Street bust just west of Post Island. I asked what a crew costs, per shift and he said $7-10 thousand. I wondered if Graz even sees a dentist but his smile is all he has these days. How does Graz get away with his lack of knowledge and leadership. The Grid guy said when he is in Boston, they make them take the spoils to a DPW yard and pick up approved (compactible) material to backfill things after making repairs. Go figure.
The Mayor should hire a babysitter for Graz. Boner would be perfect, as he knows landscaping. The Grid guy added that the State usually requires that they use Flow Fill when making repairs in State right of way’s. I said what about the Sea St./police intersection and he said he would not comment.
All this appears to be new to Graz. Does he know the asphalt plants are open, did he schedule any repairs over the winter? Are there any roads in Quincy that are going to be completed this year? Only costly repairs being done due to poor management.
What time does Graz get to Cronin’s each day to drink with Hines and Walker? I think they abuse Marina Bay and The Irish as well. Tommy’s toast is burning. I hope the Council addresses the poor management shown by Graz. I want to hear him defend himself and his management practices. Certainly not Best Management Practices.
Could the retirement board be considered a pothole with all the scandalous news emanating from that political landing spot?
Methinks more of a honey pot than a pothole or perhaps a blackhole for local taxpayers.
Why was Koch at the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the opening of the most recent section of the Neponset Greenway trail between Port Norfolk in Dorchester to Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester?
As the old saying goes, he’s like horse manure — he’s everywhere.
He will do anything for a photo opportunity, surprised the empty suit DiBona was not with him. if you have not noticed Koch is pushing the photos on social media. Also gives his but kisser Devine to comment and post on.
Mayor needs to be in the office cleaning up the mess the new council will continue to expose.
