The tenor of the first City of Quincy City Council meeting after last week’s election which saw seven of nine often obsequious vassals of Quincy Mayor Koch council members replaced was somewhere between lifeless and a morgue.

It was also brief as the meeting was officially adorned after a mere seventeen minutes with the overwhelmingly male council member and other city hall boyos dead men walking then left to stagger out of the city council chamber.

Further as well as amazingly, no Norfolk County Coroner’s office vans were anywhere to be seen.

In any event, while some of walking dead were asked for comments by the media after the council meeting, members of the incoming council Rebel Alliance attending the meeting enjoyed more media interest as well as were far more upbeat than the current now lame duck as well as dead duck short-time councillors.

But not to worry for the departing councillors as last night many displayed the potential to move on to new part-time careers as funeral home funeral attendants.
