In just breaking as well as much needed positive news in Quincy for a change, former at Large City Councillor but unsuccessful mayoral challenger Anne Mulligan Mahoney has pulled papers to run for a return to the City Council shortly before the July 15 deadline.  She has apparently also already collected enough signatures on her candidate petition to be on the September primary ballot for an at Large seat on the Quincy City Council.

Further, one can only conversely suspect that the Koch Machine is facing yet another DEFCON 1 level alert.as Mrs Mahoney’s return to the political arena poses the potential crushing of stones of the machine’s tools on stools supplicants on the City Council and who were already facing serious incoming umbrage from local long-suffering voters given their enabling of Quincy Mayor Koch’s making an ever greater mess of the city’s finances.
