The end of the year holiday calm continues as things shifted to the start of the six day-long celebration of Kwanza yesterday.
Other than for Quincy Quarry News’ ace political as well as financial and other affairs investigative personnel who are hard at work reviewing arguably seedy deeds and especially misdeeds involving Christmastime giftings and griftings in return slide under the radar last week right before Christmas, things have otherwise been so quiet in Quincy that the Quincy Quarry had to work up this Quarry story about trash not cleaned up by those polluting the local scene.
In this case, a Quincy Quarry Citizen Photojournalist scored an image of a larger politician campaign lawn sign that has long been littering his neighborhood.
Specifically, the sign has been blown about during the cold windy days that have followed the hot air tied to election day last month.
Usual local policies and practices regarding yard lawn signs is for their respective candidates to see them gathered up within five days to a week after election day.
In this and other cases, however, such does not always happen.
Even more appalling, this particular offender was running for reelection unopposed.
