Shortly after nine this morning a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard word of what sounded to be an unspecified “sexual event” at Merrymount Elementary School.

Details are scare as well as only to be expected so as to endeavor to protect the privacy of any impacted student or students.

What was gathered was that the incident sounded to not involve the physical abuse of any child but rather perhaps some sort of event.

While highly speculative at best, it sounded as if the police call was perhaps predicated upon a flashing, perhaps a Freudian Slip or something on the order of a parental protest over a guest appearance by Burt and Ernie.

In any event, substantial privacy impediments notwithstanding, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to monitor local mothers’ social media groups so as to hope to hear chatter as to why what was heard over the Quincy Police Department’s Radio channel was heard this morning and then report on what may so be gathered as might be appropriate.
