– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
Yesterday was a very busy day for local first responders.
How busy?
Quincy Quarry News’ Citizen Police Scanner Monitor was unable to keep a tally on fire calls.
Fortunately, the fires were mostly small ones.
Unfortunately, today there are reports of a big wildfire in the Blue Hills. So big a fire that Milton, Quincy, Department of Conservation, and other fire departments are rolling to the scene.
How big is today’s wild fire in the Blue Hills?
Commanding the response to the fires is Norfolk County’s fire response team.
And as for drug overdoes, overdoses calls were also so numerous yesterday that the City of Quincy’s inventory of Narcan surely took a hit as well as so continues a trend which the Quarry first reported on Monday when two apparent drug overdose fatalities were found in Quincy Point.
Accordingly, one can thus only reasonably assume that a bad batch of drugs is probably being trafficked on the mean and now looking to be even more dangerous streets of Quincy.
