One thread of last night’s radio chatter hot talk addressed an apparent striking of a Quincy police cruiser in the vicinity of 301 Falls Boulevard near Quincy’s Walmart store.

Early on the chatter regarding this incident was that two officers were down and thus things ramped up to the local equivalent of DEFCOM One, only for things to later be pulled back a bit when it become clear that the apparent incident was more of a vehicle strike as well as without inflicting consequential injuries so inflicted on the officers.

Even so, a police dragnet for a black suspect continued as well as that a likely newscopter could be seen overhead hovering monitoring the scene.

Further, during the chase, word came out that a likely suspect had been identified and that he had both priors as well as was supposed to be wearing a GPS ankle transponder as a term of his release pending trial on a prior case.

No word, however, that the transponder was of any help in the chase or even any word of the suspect was captured.

Shifting gears, there was an especially curious radio interchange about a fender bender of some sort or another in the vicinity of the intersection of Common and Copeland Streets.

What was curious was how the police cruiser for West Quincy was called off from responding to the incident by police dispatch as an officer working not so near by Wollaston had instead then been dispatched after the first dispatch.

Robbed last night or just a panic attack?

In turn, about the only likely explanation for such a change in change in responding crusiers was one of parties to the accident was going to see personal consideration as in perhaps scoring a solid, especially as dispatch directed following up with it via a call in via a cellphone number as opposed to over the open for all to hear local police radio channel.

And finally, yesterday evening featured a panic alarm activation at Quincy Cannabis and which is located in Quincy Point along the rotary at the base of the Quincy side of the Fore River Bridge.

No word, however, what was the cause off the alarm.
