First on Thursday, a massive fire broke out at the Braintree location of environmental clean-up company and which gave rise to hazardous materials both released into the atmosphere and spilled onto the ground.

Ponder the irony of the hazardous materials unleashed as this company’s business plan is to keep harbors free from pollution.

Then last night a family home in Quincy near the Fore River Bridge went up in flames.

The only good news about this fire is that residents of the house were away at a bible study meeting.

The bad news, not only was the family dog a victim of the fire, firefighters had to pull back from fighting the fire from the roof when things became dicey per what Quincy Quarry’s Citizen Police Scanner Monitor heard on Quincy’s emergency services radio channel.

And for third fire as everyone knows that catastrophic events happens in threes comes word of a fire at an automotive facility in the former shipyard in the general vicinity of East Howard Street. 

As this fire only just broke out early this afternoon, details are thus few.
