The latest attack of a female at the Wollaston Red Line MBTA station occurred at roughly 1 AM in the wee hours of the start of Friday.

Reports indicate that the victim was assaulted after exiting the Station and generally heading towards the Wollaston CVS store on her way home.

This third incident of harassing a female at the Wollaston Red Line station over the past six weeks has received all but universal coverage by local and regional media outlets.

In fact, even the Quincy Department Police for a change quickly posted a lengthy post on the incident on the department’s Facebook page.

One cannot help but suspect that the department did so as the outcome was less bad than the kidnapping and brutal rape incident last month as this time the victim fought off her attacker and the alleged perp and perv was quickly apprehended given a well-coordinated response by MBTA personnel, MBTA Transit Police and the Quincy Police Department when the attacker opted to rely on the Red Line to flee the scene.

No word, however, was provided as to the racial background of the female said to have been assaulted.

The alleged attacker is an eighteen year old Dot Rat and was arraigned in Quincy District Court on Friday.  He is said to have had a history of ill mental health and was ordered held for examination at Bridgewater State Hospital.
