Dangerous Weapon violation arrest at Quincy High School this morning heard via the Quincy Police Department’s radio channel.
In a breaking badly bad news© scoop of an exposé by Quincy Quarry News via its Citizen Police Scanner Monitor, it would appear that the police officer assigned to Quincy High School caught a student packing a dangerous weapon.
The sort of dangerous weapon was not, however, specified
The officer apparently arrested the student and called for back-up to pick up the student to transport along for booking and then holding in custody.
Given strict privacy rules involving school students, obtaining further information will be all but impossible.
Even so, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to monitor the situation and report further as might be appropriate.

More apartments, more residents, more crime.
More apartments, more residents who don’t pay property taxes.
Technically, some of rent paid by tenants ends up paid out by landlords to cover their property tax bills.
You’re right up to a point. However, the developers and owners of the buildings do get special tax arrangements (and other perks) from the city. Those are the kinds of benefits none of the homeowning tax payers get.
Fredzo,
As I noted many decades ago, there is no such things as a free lunch. Even worse in the case of Quincy, typical local homeowners all but invariably end up stuck with paying the check.
Everyone living in Quincy needs a dangerous weapon for self-defense. The streets are mean, especially Quincy Center.
Just what we need: more morons running around Quincy with guns.
Technically, weapons. All sorts of weapons. For example, Quincy was rife with stabbings last month and earlier this month someone allegedly used a motor vehicle to inflict bodily harm in the also alleged context of a hate crime.
I would rather be a moron than a victim. I always have a knife or hatchet at the ready, but a gun is an even better deterrent if you can get the permit.
Nothing like waking up to nip bottles thrown in your bushes and driveway daily. Thank you to Point Liquors and all the homeless scumbag morning alcoholics that frequent your store! Nips need to be made ILLEGAL!
Save those nip bottles for me so I can cash them in during my frequent trips to Maine where they are returnable.
I think they found someone in possession of a conservative viewpoint. This can’t be tolerated!
Sri,
While it is still unclear what was the deadly weapon purportedly seized, packing such a weapon by a minor to school is not protected political speech nor should it be.
