Quincy High had North Quincy High down by 21 to zip in the second quarter before North battled back to tie the game in the third quarter.
Things then became even more exciting even though Quincy Mayor Koch’s only alma mater eventually ended up coming up short to Quincy High in the final moments of the game by a score 40 to 35.
Quincy High thus finished the season with a 7 and 4 record overall and 3 and 2 in league play.
