Houghs Neck park site of alleged beatdown of preteen girl that was videotaped and posted by a mother now facing an arrest warrant

Local social media groups, especially those with considerable membership by Nekkers, have been atwitter with chatter about an alleged recent beatdown of a twelve year old girl at Macy Park in Houghs Neck by another girl of a similar age with an assist by her mother.

Further heating up things, the mother videoed the beatdown while apparently also participating in it and the subsequently posted it online for all to see.

While the local NBC affiliate reported on this story on Friday, this disturbing story was first broken by TurtleBoy Sports as well as then talked up on WRKO AM 680 talk radio on Friday, so far Quincy Quarry News appears to be the only local media willing to touch this story.

Needless to say, it is disquieting that the old line local media have so far failed to cover this story especially as it occurred in the wake of a recent uptick in local violence, including three knife assault incidents just last month alone.

Then again, any such coverage would undermine the Koch Maladministration carefully confabulated narrative that Quincy is a safe place to live.

In any event, the Quincy Police Department acknowledged that an arrest warrant has been issued for the mother; however, at last report she has not been apprehended. 

Further, few other details were provided given that the alleged incident also included two minors and thus a fuller disclosure of particulars is proscribed. 

At the same time, one can only assume that more details will become know once the mother is arrested and then arraigned in Quincy District Court.

Unless, that is, the matter is addressed via a secret magistrate hearing.

In any event, per TurtleBoy Sports, the mother facing an open arrest warrant also videotaped a similar incident several weeks earlier, apparently e-harassed the purported victim in the more recent beatdown and certain of her family members.as well as published material that would indicate that the mother sought by police has a less perfect past.

So disturbing is TurtleBoy’s coverage, Quincy Quarry News’ Standards and Practice desk insist that the video must be subjected to a multiple click access to be viewed via the Quarry as the coverage is that disturbing.
