Quincy hit with its third knife attack within two weeks time on an otherwise pleasant Saturday evening around dusk.

After two previous knife attacks in North Quincy near Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s residence, this latest knife incident occurred in the vicinity of the CVS drug store in Wollaston Center.

Per the Quincy Quarry police radio scanning desk comes the following unconfirmed information.

No comment, no clue – whatever …
City of Quincy head shot of Quincy Police Chief Paul “The Beav” Keenan

The purported attacker was one of three young males who were apparently out and about on their bicycles.  The male said to be brandishing a knife would appear to be a minor and another one of the three sucker-punched the victim

Police quickly apprehended the purported attacker brandishing the knife but it is so far unclear what police did with his peeps.

At least the alleged knife wielding youth is a local resident, perhaps also are his two peeps, and probably also the victim.

The victim apparently suffered a non-life threatening injury to his face and received medical care.

Additionally, it would appear that the victim and the purported attacker know each outer.

It would further appear the alleged attacker was already facing a court date on a prior matter.
