MBTA releases video of July runaway Red Line Train at Braintree Red Line station

The MBTA has released video of its runaway Red Line train incident at the T’s Braintree station last month.
The only good news is that this train only traveled roughly eight hundred feet at a low rate of speed motivated strictly via gravity until it rolled to a stop without doing any physical damage even though this runaway train did temporarily disrupt Red Line service.
“Run, run, run, run, run, run, run away, oh, oh, oh, oh …”
