For example, you could have bet your ranch on Bitcoin.

Granted, cryptocurrencies are known for their volatility.

Even so, Bitcoin, the Big Daddy of cryptocurrencies, dropped by roughly ten percent over just last weekend whereas – for example – the Dow Jones Industrial stock index has taken roughly six months to see such a decline in market value.

Even worse, Bitcoin has suffered an over fifty percent drop in value from its all-time record high six months ago.

Equally bad, other cryptocurrencies have seen similar hits.
