Granted, while the Quarry will not be offering prizes, submitters will score the joy of making others’ day or at least take the edge off of suffering a potentially expensive direct hit on a pothole.
And as for a tip for image submitters, image composition is important.
For example, in the background of the Quincy Quarry image on the right is the headquarters of the City of Quincy’s Department of Natural Resources, née Park & Recreation Department.
In other words, the snarkier the image, the better.

Just because you make the painful and time-consuming call into city hall does not mean the pothole will ever get repaired.

Let us see how long it takes to fix the potholes featured in this published story. It is not like these potholes pictured in the story are on some remote side street; they are smack in front of the city’s park work yard and executive offices.

This latest post under your amusing name features what can only be viewed as a limp phallic phony email address.
In turn, the two most reasonable conclusions are that either someone has hijacked your name to post this second comment under your name or you are a troll.
As such, please advise if your name has been hijacked via your looks to be legit Yahoo email address c/o [email protected] and the Quarry will then take appropriate next steps with the flaccid poseur.
In the meanwhile, please be advise that your posting name of Dick Feathers has been hit with one called strike over violating Quincy Quarry’s very liberal word use guidelines regardless of who may have posted the offending word.
Also note that the umpire reserves the right to call another strike if you — alone — have opted to use conflicting emails and of which at least one is surely bogus.
I can hear it now — don’t put it past the Koch regime to try to characterize the potholes as a “strategy” to help slow down automobiles. That would be in line with some of the other hooey that comes out of the corner office.
