Quincy Center’s Bridge No One Uses ranked best plowed!
The competition was not even close. Per Quincy Quarry’s review of local streets today, the fourth day after the Bombogenesis Blizzard of 2022 hit the fan, The Bridge to Nowhere won going away as there was next to no snow on it.
Conversely, nearby is a point in contrast that is more typical of many roadways in Quincy: Granite Street at its intersection with Burgin Parkway where Granite Street is all but missing a full lane of traffic on what is one of the busier streets in Quincy Center.
Did the MBTA plow the bridge or is the bridge heated?
